C is a minion from her lawyers office, visiting to chase down some paperwork.
They both find their client horrifying.
They have a lot to say about him.
Since theres very little action, the play is exceptionally dependent on the expressiveness of the three actors.
(Each delivers at least one long monologue by the shows end.)
(Although shes micd up, you get the sense that she could do without.)
Her time inParliamentprobably helped with that, too.
Needless to say, Laurie Metcalf also knows how to play a punch line.
