Man, I really hate it when couples fight.

No, not Midge and Benjamin.
Jane Lynchs Sophie is as calm as Alex Borsteins Susie is livid.
But at the same time, I can see why Midge is upset that Susie didnt let it go.
She has people laughing, she has people calling, she hypnotizes viewers to vote for Kennedy (sweet!
Shes going political!)
and in a miracle of miracles, she even gets a half-smile out of her father.
Put that on your plate, Sophie.
Sophie Lennon is one thing but what about Abe?
Does that mean Midge wont eventually have to apologize for potentially damaging her fathers livelihood?
The word communist isnt uttered, but itsnot a stretchto assume thats the direction this subplot is headed.
So how did Abe Weissman end up on the governments radar?
Just ask his comedienne daughter, who told some jokes in D.C. about her fathers work at Bell Labs.
Or, as his boss, Simon, puts it bluntly, Were all pretty goddamn sick of you.
The man may be on the road to redemption now that hes fired Joel from his garment business.
Its so Joel doesnt get stuck working himself to death so that save his fathers company.
Good news: Benjamin has seen Midge work at the Gaslight and hes laughing.
More good news: theyre sleeping together.
My heart leapt when I saw Midge voluntarily eating with Ethan and Esther in the kitchen.
Although Rose does have a point: Theyre not used to it.
