And the reactions of the other characters felt genuine.Thats us.

Were a very close cast.

Was it emotional for all of you?

I dont know if that came across.

I dont watch the show, so I only know what it was like to perform it.

But I wanted the vows to be sweet, but also playful.

I think that took some of the heaviness off it.

Sheldon and Amy are both very career-minded, and are very confident in themselves professionally.

Especially going into a marriage that was a long time coming, and not without its challenges. Its true.

I think its a really interesting way for them to enter what otherwise couldve been a very predictable wedding.

Thats not how our job works.

It was on the page.

Did you have in mind what you hoped it would be like?Honestly, I dont know.

I think if you want to say something intimate to your partner, just do it privately.

Did you like Amys wedding dress?Would I choose that dress?

For Amy, did I think it was appropriate?

I think it was pretty much right on.

I honestly wouldve liked a little bit more of my figure to show.

Thats actually like three dresses together.

Theres an under piece, and then theres the cape over it.

It felt like a little bit much to me, and it was very, very hot.

But I think ultimately, its a very satisfying dress for the character.

It was three separate dresses that they merged together? The actual dress is a strapless dress.

And then theres two capes on top.

I like the cloud reference better, but I think it ended up being really sweet.

Jims reaction when Sheldon says, Wow … that its really sweet, very sweet.

What was your favorite part of the season 11 finale?Having Mark Hamill there was super exciting.

We didnt get to see the wedding reception in the episode.

Was that because of time limits?Yes.

I think they just wanted the finale to be that scene, the ceremony scene.

Originally there was a different scene.

I have no idea.

Literally, I have no idea.

Both Sheldon and Amy have changed a lot since meeting at the end of season three.

Whats your favorite way that Amy has evolved throughout the seasons?Gosh.

Thats a good question.

I think her love for Sheldon, and the way she communicates that, is really, really sweet.

I think as Sheldon opens up more, it leaves more room for Amy to be receptive to that.

I like those kind of scenes and those conversations.

I think theres a lot more of the same and hopefully even better to come.

Simon Helberg, Im his biggest fan.

Everybody is so much fun.

We know that season 12 is a go.

How do you feel about continuing beyond that?

Do you want to?

Were your sons upset that you started withGirling Up?No, no.

I think theyre a little bit in denial, but they were happy to be on the cover.

Theyre in little superhero masks and capes.

They were happy to be part of it.

Did they have some input into the book?Yes.

This seems like a great series.

Whats the next book?Im not allowed to say that!

But I may have submitted a book proposal for it on the plane here.

Boys, its a little bit different.

Sounds like a good read for girls, too.Yes, absolutely.

The fact that a lot of boys like to process emotions alone is true of men, as well.
