The Alienistis finally cooking with gas!
Maybe it was inevitable that one of them would come to mortal harm.
Floating on that post-hookup high, even Kreizlers usual needling has changed.
In the second prong of the investigation, Howard turns her disappointment at being left behind into action.
Though theyre from different backgrounds and in different lines of work, theyre kindred spirits.
They both have a sense of independence, and theyre both no bullshit.
(Though, lets be real: If youre having the conversation at all, you definitely are.)
In other words, the soldier John Beecham and the missing boy Japheth Dury are one and the same.
Luckily, both of them survive the crash, though Kreizlers leg is wounded in the fall.
In his initial panic, he asks Moore to deliver a message for him.
Moore, ever the optimist, tells him hes overreacting.
J.P. Morgan puts the squeeze on Roosevelt to scuttle Kreizlers investigation, but Roosevelts a strong man.
Unfortunately, Connor isnt.
Connor overpowers her, throwing her off of the balcony.
And just like that, shes gone.
Lets just hope its the former.
