Viva la Dark Betty!
(An activity that was encouraged by her long-lost brother, no less.)
Its funny, in a way.
Kids are becoming sexual at an early age, and I think that speaks to it well.
Its very much out there.
Like an angel of darkness to her.
Webcamming wasnt a natural progression of things, and not to say Betty continues webcamming in the future.
One thats not necessarily dangerous or taboo.
Shes not actually meeting people.
Shes behind the camera.
She had a wig on.
It was the perfect storm and the perfect opportunity for her to explore that darkness.
Id seen that Netflix docuseriesHot Girls Wanted,though, which is along the lines of webcamming and such.
So I didnt go into this blindly.
I knew what the world was, and I knew it existed.
Ive obviously never participated in it, but I knew enough about it.

Not sure why I pictured that, but I did.
I didnt have any options, actually.
That wouldve been fun.
But Im sure Betty didnt have too many options, either.
Im sure she went into a costume store and bought it without too much thought.
Something to quickly conceal her identity.
I recently talked with yourRiverdalemom, Madchen Amick, and she thinks Aliceis the best parentin the show.
Alice is a good parent, but shes just overbearing and overcontrolling.
Fred is a great dad you’re able to see that warmth between Archie and Fred.
Im not a fan of the Lodge parents.
Id say Luke Perry is the best of the bunch.
And shes a courtesan!

Are you hoping the show leans more into the love triangle aspect of Betty, Veronica, and Archie?
Or even a love rectangle with Jughead?
Up until recently, things had been pretty straightforward with the pairings.I dont think its necessary.
Its great it’s possible for you to effortlessly separate your virtual and private lives.
Have you watched the show?
Thats why the decision was ultimately made to move to Netflix to make theseRiverdaleandSabrinashows completely separate universes.
I dont really know what Robertos plan is forSabrinaor what aspect of the supernatural or magic will be used.
I know that doesnt exist inRiverdale.At least right now.
So it wouldnt make sense for those two worlds to collide.
So, Id say dont expect Betty to be in that world.
And thats totally okay, because shes got her own shit going on inRiverdale.[Laughs.]
