The conflicts fueling June and Oscars discord finally begin converging inForevers fifth episode.

Faced with the news that nothing is ever truly destroyed in this new life (death!
), June has to contend with the fact that its unlikely anything will ever really change.
But the dishwasher isnt whats bugging him, really.
So Oscar takes off in a huff.
And for the time being, Oscar and June are left to their own devices.
June heads over to Kases place, and they spend the afternoon together screwing around.
But June declines, citing Oscar, wholl be returning that evening.
Her neighbor says she understands.
But it doesnt take much to see that Junes decision, in her boredom, is only temporary.
Shes an older woman (or at least much older than the teen at her time of death).
On Junes end, she decides to tag along with Kase after all.
They end up at a gas station way out in the middle of nowhere.
And the two of them watch as a cashier behaves like a proper misogynist with his customers.
When she sets her hand on the cashiers neck, he falls unconscious.
And Junes neighbor is refreshed, never mind their distance from the fountain.
So, this is pretty weird!
Theres definitely a moral gray line.
She knocks the dude entirely out.
The cashiers still breathing (according to Kase), but he certainly isnt going anywhere.
But the evening comes to a close.
June and Kase head back toward town.
He doesnt tell them where, exactly, thatll lead.
But he describes the location as only for them alone.
She says, very clearly, that Oscar wouldnt do that to her.
The man tells them that, either way, hell still be around.
If he ever changes his mind, they can take the same road back.
For the first time in the series, the couple is left with a tangible sense of discord.
And while Oscar may be entirely unaware, June is certainly weighing the benefits.
Shell have surely made her decision a little sooner than later.
