Comedy Central just added two new half-hour series to its slate, and both of them sound very promising.
In addition to Awkwafina, the show featuresB.D.
Wongas her father, Lori Tan Chinn as her grandmother, andSNLwriter Bowen Yangas her more successful cousin.
The second new series comes from comedianRory Scovel.
TitledRobbie,the series stars Scovel alongside Beau Bridges,SNLalum Sasheer Zamata, and Mary Holland.
Scovels most recent stand-up special,Rory Scovel Tries Stand-up for the First Time,debuted on Netflixlast year.

Its exciting to work with Comedy Central and its especially awesome because they said they would never cancel us.
Both Awkwafina and Scovels series were originallyput into development back in April.
