Its not the sort of film where you’ve got the option to just fucking wing that shit.
I was kind of keeping tabs on each girl so I could step in and out.
I can really sort of craft my way a little bit.
And listen, its not easy.
Im not saying I get handed everything thats out there.
What draws you to that?Well, thats an interesting question.
To be honest, its not so much what Im going for; its what people see in me.
When I entered this industry, I was older.
I was 25, and I didnt know where Id be placed, how I would translate.
At the same time, I have very strong beliefs that Ive had to fight for.
Im very protective of womens rights.
Its my most vital form of expression.
I do other things.
I play music, all that stuff, but this is like my pulse, you know?
The worst part about it is I dont carry a handbag [laughs]!
My phone is dead half the time.
Im not eating right.
You want to do it justice, and you get a release from it.
Its cathartic in a way.
Sometimes after I finish a film I have a hard time snapping back into reality.
Im not sure whether I take a shit, eat, sleep or like read a book right now.
I get discombobulated, because Im not somebody who has their fucking mobile on set all the time.
I played lots of sports.
I would say that I have a very intimate relationship with my body.
So I just went along with it, but now I am much stronger.
Ive made a lot of mistakes.
You just need to be really, really in tune with that stuff, and listening to your body.
Youve said you got into acting because it feltso much more satisfyingcreatively.
Are you still finding that to be true?Oh my God.
Its becoming almost an unhealthy obsession.
Sitting around there waiting for something to happen is so toxic to me.
Im discovering more and more things that I want to do that I didnt even know existed before.
